Climate: The climate is tropical, with abundant rainfall of about 70 inches annually in the south, decreasing to about 31.5 inches in the extreme north. There is one rainy season from April to November and one long, hot, dry season. Floods are common and temperatures range from 21°C to 32°C (70°F to 90°F)..One will expect that the country will be very hot and humid due to its proximity to the equator, but thanks to the elevation, CAR  is not so humid. The winters are dry, while the summers tend to be wet and it is hot the whole year round. The rain season is normally from May to October
PASSPORTS: Valid passport required by all except nationals of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Côte d' Ivoire, Gabon, Monaco, Niger, Senegal and Togo holding valid national ID cards. Passports and ID cards must be valid for 6 months after entry into the Central African Republic.
